One night that month, around midnight, Brabson walked Stoutermire home from work after her shift at a local liquor store in Fort Wayne. Once they arrived at Stoutermire’s apartment, Brabson received a telephone call and became emotional. After the telephone call, Brabson took out his handgun, put it beneath his chin, and pulled the trigger.
