Van Jones HUMILIATED as he gets CORNERED By Abby Phillip in Heated Israel Debate [8:58-14:00]

there's been a change of status quo. There's a war between the United States, Israel, and Iran, that is going on right now in the Middle East. And under those circumstances, that is actually different from what we've been experiencing for the last 40, 50 years. And so, under those circumstances, there's only one power in the Middle East that has a nuke in its Israel. And so, the question is, what are the circumstances? What are the boundaries? Are there any boundaries? They don't acknowledge that they have them. People know that they do, but are there any boundaries? I think that seems like a fair question to ask. I'm assuming that they're in executive. What is he? Why is he behaving like this? What do you mean why? In war, we would drag by them. You don't think we should know if they have a nuclear weapon and if they're ready and able to use it? That seems like an issue. Like, guys, there was an article about Van Jones on drop-site news. I think it was a couple of years ago, stating that he was paid by Israel to be like this pro-Israel journalist. This is weird. I don't care what anyone says. This behavior is weird. What are you getting pissed off about? It was the big deal of knowing. Why can't we know? And he said about being paid by Israel that it was bogus. This is a strange strong stance to have deciding with Israel. Especially, I don't know, as they commit a genocide, drag us into a war that's crippling the global economy. Gas prices are nearing $5 on average now. Why have this kind of reaction? Just to finding out if they have nuclear weapons, how many, right, like these normal kind of questions, you don't see why it's an hour of best interest to know why exactly what Israel may be capable of, as we go on with this stupid war that doesn't seem like it's going to end anytime soon. I mean, again, we are in war because of them and because the republic is a really effing stupid, but just odd for him to have this kind of reaction and he's not answering anything. Why can't we know if they have nothing to hide? What's the big deal? Why do you want to hide there? As one of our only, the only ally we have that's hiding him. Isn't that at all odd to you, Van Jones? Not even a tiny bit, like I hate when people take, like average people who may watch this show on TV as complete idiots. Surely he knows this looks strange. Why can't you express that then? The secret of nature of the Israeli government, that dragging us into this war, without Israel, we are not in this war. The influence they have on our politician? No, nothing to see here. Getting pissed off at Abby. That was wrong with this dude. He continues. Just pay attention to him. Session. The Armed Services Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and certainly the Intelligence Committee are getting as much of a briefing on the state of Israeli nuclear readiness as they feel they need. The issue here is whether it should be done publicly. All right, because I mean, I presume that the reason that there's this letter is because they're not. So I think that's a question. It's not about it on Ashley. This is just pull it up. No, but this is a question. Should they be doing a gang of things? Should they be doing a briefing of some sort to members of Congress? I don't think that that is unreasonable at this point. And it makes it that letter made it seem like they actually don't have the answers to the questions. And to be honest with you, I think what worries Congress and the Democratic members is, I don't know if the White House has asked themselves those questions. So I think that is the concern. Is that has the White House done their homework? Do they know the answers to these questions? And if they do, can they do a classified briefing? The last question for you, Tim, because I think you... He's like so animated about this. He can't control the contorting of his face. I mean, seriously, why the hell can't we know about their nuclear weapons? Am I missing something, guys? You're seeing this, right, with vaginals? We laid out the history, really. It was really fascinating. If, look, we've been in this place for a while because of all those things that you laid out. But if Israel, in fact, has a nuclear weapon or nuclear weapons, why shouldn't they behave the way other nuclear states that are good actors do when they have those nuclear weapons? They have a certain degree of transparency. They have a principle around their use of nuclear weapons. Why shouldn't they be subject to that expectation, even if it's not a mandate? Well, I'm not going to tell the Israelis what to do, but I think they should, of course. I think I know why we didn't. And I respect that. I know why the United States doesn't say, talk publicly about it. I think they should. It's not for me to tell them what to do. But, of course, I think they should. I think they should. Now's that they have this capability and that they can protect themselves. And I think that would be healthy, because we don't have a Soviet Union to provide nuclear assistance to the Egyptians.

{# E23 (Nick, ruling section 1 answer 10): quoting a bill or a court opinion works the way quoting a news article works. Select a passage above and the same panel opens: the passage goes to the official you choose, with this document's own address as its source and its own type. #}
