Isaiah Martin Makes MAGA Pundit EMOTIONAL After Being CORNERED in Heated Debate! [5:01-10:03]

But even the big ones, if you're hiring lots of people and the pay is competitive, fine, whatever. I can get around to that kind of thinking. But no one has been able to explain to me why an individual should be able to pay a fraction of the tax rate that someone making 50K, 60K, whatever. It's just not right. It's clear tax evasion in my eyes is basically robbery. The more money you make, the higher the tax rate you pay. This is true for everyone until you make a much higher amount of money. Not only does the tax bracket just stop, but what happens is that these tools get unlocked for you like it's a video game. These tools make it so that you can pay a much lower tax rate than even someone in the lowest tax bracket making 20K, 15K. And it only works if you make a certain amount of income and it's a whole lot of money. And you're able to take advantage of these tools. This is the easiest way I can explain it if I'm getting into all the different tactics. Yeah, because I look, I believe that we live in the greatest country on the face of the planet. And there's unlimited opportunity here for anybody who's willing to work hard and go after it. If you're upset about this, and how much your CEO makes, go watch your own company. Not that easy. Competition. Of course, it's not that easy, but like it's never that easy to start a company or something. So anyone in this country, like I said who's willing to work hard and to pay themselves, go become Starbucks competition and sell $7 premium experiences and undercut your competition. I don't think that, you know, I wouldn't complain. I would just say, I don't like it. I'll go start my own thing. Oh, God. Yeah, that's your question. I prefer to have you ask the questions, but sure, you can ask the question. I mean, it's okay. We can talk to each other here. Do you think that it's insane to say that Starbucks should raise their wages for their workers? Is that insane to say as a concept? I think that I believe in free markets and if a private company sets their wages, what they are, then that's what they are. And if you don't like the wage, do you support them? If you don't like the wage, don't go work there. I've applied for hundreds of jobs where they didn't meet my minimum I wanted to make, and I didn't go work there. It was as simple as that. You also don't have the affordability, or you have the affordability, most likely, to say notice something. It's true. Some people have to take jobs that don't pay the living wage to keep up with rising inflation. And they are in these positions, and I think to Abby's point, what you're seeing is workers at these companies are just not getting paid for what they should be. And then you see the CEO is getting these extravagant, enormous bonuses. And that is the choice of the company. Right. But I think there has to be some type of conversation that we have of what raising the federal minimum wage and giving workers more benefits so that they can be competitive in the market. I believe that my mother works three jobs when we were coming up. And if something didn't pay more, she would either go get another job, or she would work hard to achieve so she could go make more money. But it's not simple. It's not really about the math. Just tell us what they can do with it. But well, but it's not really about the math. I commend your mom, but she shouldn't have to be working three jobs way ahead. But since I'll get to that in a second, and mathematically, it doesn't make sense that everyone can't just start a business. It just doesn't make sense for everyone to be a business owner. Just think about what you're saying. And a lot of people can't even get past bills to even start getting some extra money to get it to start something. Some people work so much, they have multiple kids. Like it's just not in the cars for everyone, Papa. And they still go underwater. It's just not realistic to say, well, well, just start a business. They'll get more jobs. So people are really doing all of that. It's just silly thinking. And the economic, it's about values, right? So not long ago, the guys, and they were all guys who ran big American companies, GM, Ford, Sears, those things. They paid themselves about 20 to 30 times the wage of the average worker. Today, that's 300 to 400 times. Japan doesn't do that. Germany doesn't do that. The UK doesn't do that. America does that. Because the values shifted from what's best for the company? How do I drive the stock price up and get as much of that as I can? And the notion that so much of it is going to so few people is one of the reasons we got Trump. And I want to piggyback off of that. Because largely, we understand that when Trump was run for president, he said that he was going to raise the wages for all these workers all across America. The real wage growth is 80% less than what it was. So that's the real facts. So if you make a campaign promise it, you're going to raise wages for workers all across this country. And you do not deliver on that. And who does that fall on? Well, I don't know. So the president's point was he was going to go tell private enterprise that you have to pay people. He said it was going to create the economic conditions to do so. Have you done that? That doesn't mean that he was going to go invade businesses, boardrooms, and say you have to pay your employees. Did he create the economic conditions to go and do that? You can spend this all on air. The president of the United States is not going to. He didn't make a promise to go invade boardrooms and tell companies private problems. Well, hold on. One thing he did do was say that he was going to make life more affordable. And as we pointed out, most Americans say that they don't think
