In October of 2023, Williams had the motor oil changed on her vehicle at a
retail outlet (i.e., Take 5 Oil Change) owned by Baldwin. On November 8,
2023, Williams sued Appellees in Hamilton Superior Court, alleging that they
had performed an inadequate oil change on her vehicle, causing damages. A
bench trial was held in Hamilton Superior Court on August 22, 2024, at which
Williams testified as the only witness.
