Letter: Ditlevson a proven leader
Editor,
As a retired Naval officer and a proud American veteran, I know real leadership when I see it. It is not about slogans or political performance. It is about service, discipline, accountability and being ready when the job calls for it. That’s part of the many reasons why I support Tiffanie Ditlevson for state Senate.
First, Tiffanie is a longtime friend. Second, I am chair of the Fishers Armed Services Commission and Tiffanie is a very capable and dedicated member of the 11-member commission. Third, Tiffanie is a former Air Force Major and combat veteran who understands responsibility at a level few candidates ever will. She has led under pressure, managed major operations and served something bigger than herself. That experience matters, especially in a time when voters are looking for serious, steady leadership.
What also sets Tiffanie apart is that her service did not end when she came home. In addition to serving on the Fishers Armed Services Commission, Tiffanie is an at-large Fishers City Councilor already serving much of District 31 and working on the issues local families care about most. She understands affordability, disciplined budgeting, public safety and the importance of strong communities.
Republican voters in District 31 want a battle-tested Republican and a proven local leader. Tiffanie Ditlevson is both. My wife and I have lots of reasons why Tiffanie has earned our votes. This letter has described a few of them.
