Cyber, AI, and identity: Elevating secure digital banking journeys [47:26-51:31]
I got to go last you want to go last okay yeah yeah sure I'm happy to start you know again you know in terms of innovation what I'll say is you know everyone's looking to figure out and say what are you doing with this fraud right it you know real-time identity first discipline looking at trusted devices looking at payment risks you know scams are going to outpace you know just a traditional authorized fraud right this authorized push payment these scams where people are really tricked into it it's growing significantly and I really do believe that AI is going to become the center co-engine that's going to be helping in this fraud detection prevention and response it's not just going to be a single model but you'll have a lot of agents coming through we'll see advances coming through in terms of new ways to authenticate you know greater intelligence around the beneficiary of where the money is going and and using tools graph databases and better technology building on our own deepfakes awesome beaker yeah so if I look ahead I think I think banking is going to become programmable not just digital and the winning banks are going to treat identity payments and risk as one integrated control plane because safe autonomy becomes the new competitive battleground in our opinion from the identity perspective the first we're going to see rapid growth and delegated and energetic interaction so customers employees partners and increasingly AI agents acting on somebody's behalf and that really shifts the question from did you log in to who is acting for whom under what authority and under what conditions right now so it just dramatically changes how we think about authentication you know the other thing I think we'll see is fraud is going to scale and mutate and I don't think more review reviewers are going to solve that we think the only sustainable answer is continuous preventative enforcement you know identity signals and risk signals evaluated every meaningful action not just account opening or login and then finally compliance moves from reporting to architecture regulators will increasingly expect auditability and accountability inside the workflow unique agent identity and provenance and lease privilege and policy based controls that can be proven not just promise so my prediction is with all of that that the banks that lead won't be the ones with the most AI they'll be the ones that can scale AI with trust and that's exactly where we focus at paying identity an identity fabric for humans machines and AI agents so autonomy is explainable and auditable while really enabling the benefits and the promise that agente AI represents awesome thank you so much Peter Michelle my my prediction is that the foundation of identity being customer information one of the foundations and when the banks it's going to become so advanced the banks are going to actually come together and help solve help solve it for each other because there's so much disparate customer information that the banks are and and just like we saw with like different payment rails we're going to see the banks get together and really unite on customer information to make it easier for each other awesome thank you so much Michelle and with that we we are wrapping up the session for today thank you to our speakers for sharing practical insights on automation security and regulatory considerations and thank you for everyone who joined us today we hope these takeaways will help shape the future of your digital banking journey have a great day
