Cyber, AI, and identity: Elevating secure digital banking journeys [7:26-12:29]

Sure. Thank you, Michelle. Satish, you want to add to Michelle's takeaways? No, absolutely. You know, we've done some research. The Lloyd Center for Financial Services predicts that Gen AI is going to be a big disruptor. It's already started and it could enable fraud losses to reach over $40 billion in the US just in the next year up from $12.3 billion in 23. Growing at a rate of 32%, so just technology is driving a lot of these fraud losses and we're going to dive into deep on this, but what's really helping this is the democratization of nefarious software. It's easily available, fraudsters are using it, and now you've got deep fakes also rising. Studies have shown anywhere in 1,000 percentage points, deep fakes are rising, just in the last year or two, you know, 700% rise of deep fakes in fintechs also. So we're going to dive deep into this topic, but clearly fraud and risk is on top of mind for a lot of executives in driving of decisions to manage the fraud losses. Awesome. Thank you so much, Michelle and Satish for those great insights. Now, shifting towards product and solution, my next question is to Peter. Peter, according to another recent survey by Deloitte, 86% of financial services AI adopters say that AI will be critically important to their business success in the next two years. Given the increased focus on customer experience, service optimization and regulatory risk assessment, how is ping identity shaping its product strategy to support verifiable first, unified customer experience and advanced fraud prevention? Yeah, thanks Deepak. I think first I'll mention, I think we're going to give into AI a little bit later in this conversation. So I'll defer on that part, but I do want to address the other aspects here that you've mentioned. First, to introduce ping identity to the audience, we're a converged intelligent identity platform that's behind over half of the Fortune 100. You know, we're trusted by market leaders in banking, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and public sector, and we power secure digital experiences at global scale. We unify identity security, access management, fraud prevention, and identity assurance for every identity, whether that's human, machine, or AI agent now. And we do that across any cloud or on premises environment, including hybrid deployments, and it gives enterprises a single, extensible fabric instead of fragmented point solutions. So we help customers really reduce risk and fraud and ship better experiences faster and turn identity into a durable competitive advantage. So to your question about our product strategy and addressing your question, here's the key drivers that we think about. The first is that trust is no longer static. It must be continuously earned at scale. AI driven fraud, ecosystem expansion, and delegated access are reshaping how trust is established and how it's lost in financial services. And this matters because customers and regulators no longer trust one time checks or perimeter security trust must be proven, you know, really proven repeatedly. And identity becomes the mechanism to continuously verify who is acting and on whose behalf and under what conditions. Another thing we think about is, you know, agility without control actually erodes trust and control without agility kills growth. And so banks are under extreme pressure to move faster new products, new partners, new channels, while regulatory and risk expectations are on the rise. So hard coded access logic and manual processes just can't keep up with that business change. And identity really plays a critical role because you can externalize policy and authorization to allow change without reengineering core systems. Another area we think about a lot is delegated access. It's becoming the new trust frontier. Customers are increasingly delegating access to family members, brokers, caregivers, partners, and soon AI agents and poorly governed delegation, you know, it becomes a modern trojan horse introducing hidden risk. So identity brings delegated entitlements to make trust conditional and time bound and auditable and reversible. Another area is privacy preservation and assurance. It's essential to sustaining customer trust. Customers expect strong security and control over how their data and identity are used. It matters because centralized biometric and over collected identity data underlying really underlying long-term trust and regulatory confidence. You know, trust must
