Sometime starting in around 2021 or 2022, J.B.’s aunt observed Buford exiting the rooms in which J.B. had been sleeping, on multiple occasions. J.B.’s aunt eventually informed J.B.’s mother what she had observed. J.B.’s mother became suspicious and asked J.B. “if anybody was messing with her.” Tr. Vol. III p. 25. J.B.
