This frame is still a little treacherous because it's got so many staple stubs sticking out of it. I need to get those removed and see if I need any new screws or anything to tighten it up. I'm definitely going to use it again. This subframe made sitting in the car for a tall person like myself much more comfortable. It's fantastic really. Although it does push your thighs up closer to the steering wheel making getting in and out of the car very tricky. That's why I developed the removable steering wheel. Let's take a look at the original seat together. Here's the seat. It's a mouse nest in here. Did I mention that I am wearing a mask? Now a lot of these springs look pretty badly distorted. So I'm going to need to do repairs or replacement or remanufacture on some of these springs. But I intend to reuse everything at least to the greatest extent possible. But am I ever excited that I have some, what appears to be original vinyl? If not original then a very good re-apolster vinyl that I can carefully remove and uses a pattern or as an example.
