Judge Tavitas dissents Case Summary T.K. appeals the trial court’s order for involuntary regular commitment, which was based on the trial court’s determination that T.K. was mentally ill and gravely disabled. T.K. presents a number of issues of which we address only two: 1) whether the commitment order is defective because it contained only the signature of a commissioner and 2) whether sufficient evidence supported his involuntary civil commitment.
