Case Summary
Following a bench trial, Robert Day was convicted of Level 5 felony attempted
burglary and Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. On appeal, Day
challenges the sufficiency of the State’s evidence with respect to only his
conviction for attempted burglary.
We affirm.

In the early morning hours of June 21, 2016, Officers Derek Loyal and Aaron
Tate from the Lawrence Police Department responded to an alarm at the local
Veterans of Foreign Wars post (the VFW).
