Colorado Parks and Wildlife commissioner resigns
[transcript] The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission has a new vacancy, nine news investigates confirms Murphy Robinson has stepped down from the commission, a spokesperson from the governor's office says he decided to step away to focus on growing business commitments and a statement to nine news governor Jared Polis says that he is grateful for Murphy's service to the state he felt he was a great advocate for Coloradans and for public lands and wildlife. The governor says that he will miss Murphy and wishes him the best in his next chapter. As of today, don't know exactly when Murphy submitted his resignation and when it went into effect, but his bio has been removed from the commission website. Non-secular does flagging that last night we reported CPW director Jeff Davis resigned instead of being fired and signed a separation agreement with the state. The state initially reported that Jeff Davis merely resigned.
