Riverside County Sheriff on Instagram: "All jokes aside, safety comes first! California law restricts phone use while driving, even while stopped at a light or stop sign. 🛑 That means: Keep it hands-free and drive safe. ✔️ You can use voice commands, bluetooth or hands-free systems. ❌ You cannot hold your phone to text, scroll, check GPS, etc., even at a light. It’s all considered operating the device while driving. #Traffic #DistractedDriving #RiversideSheriff"
