A Virginia police officer is on the run after allegedly shooting a woman during a domestic incident. Authorities are searching for police officer Charles Stokes, who they claim shot the mother of his child in Lunenburg County. The victim is a former Kenbridge officer. Two felony warrants have been obtained against Stokes who should be considered armed and dangerous. Stokes reportedly fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
