The circuit court clerk of Chesterfield County, Amanda Pohl, brought Chesterfield's original 1749 county charter to the Library today for preservation work to be performed by the Library’s conservator, Leslie Courtois. This historic document has gone missing two times since the Civil War but has made its way back to the county courthouse.
