Kenedy County - A smuggler led a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper on a high-speed chase on US-77. During the pursuit, a Chevrolet Blazer (escort vehicle) attempted several times to hinder the Trooper from pursuing the Ford F-250. The Ford F-250 suddenly stopped, and the smuggler, including several illegal immigrants, bailed out towards the brush.
