Wendel has received worker’s compensation benefits in accordance with his Illinois claim, and additional benefits may be paid in the future. On November 26, 2013, Wendel underwent back surgery in Indiana for his work injury. A micro diskectomy 4 was to be performed on the right side of Wendel’s back. Dr. Dwight Tyndall, an Indiana physician, operated on the left side of Wendel’s back.
