At some point, C.S. decided to see if Barkley, her uncle, would drive her home. C.S. walked to Barkley’s nearby residence and when she arrived, she discovered that Barkley was not able to drive because he had been drinking. Barkley invited C.S. into his home for a drink and to celebrate her new job. After drinking six or eight “shots” of liquor, C.S. felt “drunk and tired.” Transcript Vol.
