Termination: P P v. Indiana Department of Child Services, et al.

── Termination: P P v. Indiana Department of Child Services, et al. ── Case No.: 23A-JT-01110 Court: Indiana Court of Appeals Date: February 26, 2024 Author: Judge Robert Altice County of Origin: Marion Category: Juvenile Decision: Affirmed Judge Weissmann and Judge Kenworthy concur Case Summary P.P. (Father) appeals the involuntary termination of his parental rights to F.P., G.D., and P.D. (the Children). Father presents two issues for our review: 1. Did the trial court abuse its discretion in granting the State’s motions to correct P.D.’s surname and to reopen the evidence in the termination cause so the State could offer the Childrens’ birth certificates into evidence? 2. Is the trial court’s termination of Father’s parental rights supported by clear and convincing evidence? We affirm. Facts & Procedural History C.D.
