During the summer, Allen would leave fifteen-year-old S.A. and fourteen-yearold D.A. at the apartment while she and Randy were at work. Allen took E.W. and T.A. to daycare during the day. On July 27, 2021, S.A. and D.A. (collectively, the Children) were at the apartment when Allen and Randy returned home from work late that afternoon.
