Jack White to rock Indianapolis with new songs in July

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Famed rocker Jack White will perform in July at the amphitheater at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, Live Nation Indiana announced in a news release issued Thursday. The release did not provide ticket prices for the 8 p.m. July 21 show at Everwise Amphitheater, part of its Jack Daniel’s Concert Series. Sales to the general public were to start 10 a.m. April 17. The tour will feature recently released songs — “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico” — from White, the release said. Special guests for the tour will be announced later. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s tour announcement came days after his sixth appearance on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and an extended interview on CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
