Following affirmance of his conviction, Clark filed a petition for postconviction relief (PCR). He asserted that he was denied the effective assistance of trial counsel, in part, due to counsel’s failure to object to M.R.’s in-court identification of Clark in a photograph, which had previously been shown to M.R.
