Eventually, DCS filed petitions alleging Children were CHINS. At the consolidated fact-finding hearing—which took place on October 5, 12, and 26, 2022—there was evidence a violent altercation took place at Mother’s residence in June 2022. DCS learned of the altercation after law enforcement responded to Mother’s 9-1-1 call.
