At the time, Perez-Dingui had a one-year-old daughter, E.D., nicknamed “Cookie.” Bryant and Perez-Dingui began a romantic relationship and quickly moved in together at Perez-Dingui’s mother’s house in Indianapolis. They lived there for a few months but left because of tension with Perez-Dingui’s mother.
