On the evening of March 3, 2020, sixteen-year-old Jeremiah
Hendricks [(“Hendricks”)] arranged to meet fifteen-year-old Luis
Miranda [(“Miranda”)] at an apartment complex in Lafayette.

Bell originally appealed his convictions and sentence, raising several issues, and a panel of this court
affirmed in part, reversed in part, and remanded with instruction to correct sentencing errors. Bell v. State,
