Through appointed counsel, Thomas timely filed a Notice of Appeal in
September 2023, pursuing a direct appeal of his convictions for two counts of
Level 1 felony child molesting. However, Thomas eventually moved to
voluntarily dismiss the direct appeal. We granted that motion, dismissing the
direct appeal with prejudice.
