As of December 2023, when Child was five years old, Child’s biological father (“Father”) was his primary custodian. 1 Child requires special care due to his “severe autism which has rendered him largely non-verbal, in need of structure, [and] resistant to change[.]” Appellant’s App. Vol. 2 p. 13. Child has special needs in his educational and physical development, and in addition to being non-verbal, requires the use of pull-up diapers.
