After Jenkins thwarted the burglary, one of Jenkins’s neighbors watched as Jenkins pushed a naked Gray from Jenkins’s home. Jenkins then went to the nearby home of his aunt, Keisha Journey. There, Jenkins told his uncles about the burglary but did not mention Gray’s name. [4] Later that afternoon, when Journey and Jenkins were outside Journey’s home and two of Jenkins’s uncles were across the street, Gray ran up to Jenkins and fired several shots.
