After serving 7½ years in prison for burglary and auto theft, Haddox was
released on probation in late January 2023. Ten days later, he stole a semitrailer truck from a Chesterton, Indiana parking lot. The truck was reported
stolen the next day, and police soon found Haddox in its driver’s seat at a truck
stop in Warren, Indiana.
