Stop, Don’t Do That [5:00-10:18]

Peter, one of the striking things about walking around Washington, D.C., there seems to be twin legacies, the legacies of the Kennedys and that, of course, of Donald Trump on the Department of Justice building, where, of course, Bobby Kennedy worked. He was the attorney general. You worked for him then on the building of the Department of Justice, which is now called the Robert Kennedy building. There's a big picture of Donald Trump almost looking dictatorial, certainly authoritarian. It's certainly not a very American picture. What do you think Bobby Kennedy would think if he's looking down on us now, and he sees that big picture of Trump on the Department of Justice, which, he, of course, once ran and many people would argue, he was the most influential attorney general in American history. You know, you know, he would say that he's awful, that he is not what our country should have, and that he is in that position. So, like thousands and millions of people think, says that there is a column in the head of everything for the country and he am, so that's what I think. You're on that remarkable trip that Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy made to Mississippi. In fact, you met your wife, and tell us about that trip, Peter, why was that perhaps the most central event in your life? Well, it's yes, that's absolutely right. It's really a larger point though, because after when he lost his brother, he made his work as much as half of everything. And of course, he did many, many, many other things around the world and other things and so on. But his major thing were people who had low income and having a health, and it connects to people of color. Both everybody who fight black everything, but especially on people of black people and so on, and Robert was very, very committed to that. So, it was my, fortunately, thing, after when he got there and had lost his brother. And my job was to go with him all within the place, not around the world or other people. But every day, except the few times when he went out. And so, I was going with him all over the world, all over the country. And that's why I said, the nice story with my wife, Marion. It was really only part of what my man went, going all over the country. And I, of course, learned from him every day and in all way. So, I just said that it's a completely different person as a result of that. Now, it's true that one of the things that was especially important was turned out to be my wife by that because he, my wife, Marion, was down there working.
