Keeping Up With The Chaldeans - Bonnie's Creations [17:15-22:18]

We're blessed that and not for her pain. But, you know, they make you... They make her feel as comfortable as possible during the last days. But it's good to be able to get all of your... Everything in order before you, you know, pass on to... For sure. You get to say bye. Sit by God's side, you know? Yeah. Good thing. Yeah, she even gets, like, orders that they'll call her and they're like, can we pick it up tonight? Yeah, of course. It's for tomorrow. Yeah. And she doesn't say her own time. I'll stay awake until 3 o'clock in the morning. She stays up sometimes so late. Turn around time. Like, I'd say, like, for funerals, the funerals within the next couple days, after some passes away. Yeah, sure, yeah, yeah. So, I try to get it done within 24 hours, no matter what. And what are most people order? Candles and frames. And then, so, what do they do with them? They hand them out? They can lay it at the funeral home, like, or, like, the hall, like, at Regency, or whatever. Keep it taken more. And then... So, that's what some people do, like, which they shouldn't. But, yeah, no need. Well, they're not supposed to take that. It's for a media family. It's just, like, delivering flowers. Right, right. You're not going to go to a funeral home. Take some longer. Well, this is a good etiquette course, because some people don't know that. Right. They wouldn't know that. Yeah. So, they just want to, you know, they just take the candle for a memory. But, so, you're not supposed to take them, folks. No. They're not for you. They're the media family. Unless there's, like, a stack of, like, the prayer cards. You guys do that, too? I don't do the prayer cards, but I will print, like, four by sixes of, like, the picture that I do blown up for families. Like, some people order 50 to 100 and people can take it, like, instead of a prayer card, it's really beautiful. Yeah. That's nice. Yeah. So, I got a candle at a mercy dinner, or something, like a mercy lunch, like a month after. Like, it was the 30-day thing, and it was kind of a private, a private, close family and friends that kind of celebrated the life of the individual that passed away. Is that, do you get a lot of orders for those kinds of things? Yes, we do. And we, or she gets orders from San Diego, Arizona, Shippelop. She ships a lot of stuff out, like, too, because it's in my hands at the end of the day, if you're shipping a candle in a frame, if they break, it sucks. Yeah, because they're not. I mean, those delivery guys aren't. You pay for the shipping the candle, and you have to remake it. We just got to pack it a little more. Very carefully now. Yeah, very carefully, yeah. But still, they don't care. The people, they throw it. Yeah, yeah, of course they do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's okay. I mean, still order. Yeah, they'll get there. I haven't actually had any problems shipping in the past year and a half, two years. It's been good. And the heat, too, kind of ruins the candles. If it's like hot. Right, right. Summer. They melt right back in place, though, right? They cool down. Oh, I've had tutorials with people in San Diego. Like, this is how you fix it. Grab this and grab that and do this. Yeah. And they fix it. And stand it upright. Yeah. So, where do they find you? Bonnie's creations. Bonnie's creations. I've been around so many years. I used to have about, how many followers did I have on Instagram at one point? Like, 25,000? Yeah, I went down a little bit. It did, yeah. But I did. I had a lot of followers. And I used to ship all over. Like, even out of the country, they would call an order from me. I've gotten some orders in New York recently. Which is really cool. New Jersey. How's five? Who are these people? Oh. Oh, yeah. I did too. So, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We did her Unity Candle. We've done pictures of her daughter. Mm-hmm. A lot of different things for her. That's where I got most of the followers. How do you guys keep so perfectly manicured with all this work that y'all do? You know what? I go home and I'm taking a bar soap and I'm scrubbing all the glue and glitter all over. My husband gets so mad. I'll walk into the house and I'm all glitter. And I can't help it. I try to shake it all off. But I'll walk into our house and literally from the laundry room to the kitchen. It's like a trail of glitter. Because you're at her house doing this work? Yes. I just kept it in the basement. Awesome. Yeah, it's easier. It's bigger. I have all the storage. And people know my house. They're used to picking everything from my house. Oh, nice. She'll just call me. She'll say, Mom, can you hand this client this? Can you hand this client that? Mm-hmm. And, you know, that's it. But she does a good job. She's taking over Bonnie's creations. Thank you. Lauren Claus. Boss Lauren. What else is there that we did not cover?
