Keeping Up With The Chaldeans - Lily Alattar [22:04-24:50]
L-Y-313, L-X-L-Y-313. And if you're wondering who's taking those videos, it's Kyle. Exactly. Kyle's a cameraman. It's not in my other brothers and, and stuff, not all Kyle. What is the hunt another on your hand? Oh, I just, I got a kit the other day because I'm very spontaneous, and I'm also an insomniac. And at 1 a.m., I was like, I want to do Hannah. So I ordered it on Amazon, and then I did it the other day. And then I realized, oh crap, I'm filming today. So I was like, yeah. Very cool. So what would you say to these younger aspiring musically inclined young people out there? What kind of advice would you have for them? I think you don't have to be the best at what you do. You absolutely do not have to be the best. The thing that's the most important is that you keep showing up. And I think that's passion within you. There's always going to be someone better than you. There's always going to be someone more successful than you. And I think confidence is realizing that and realizing that's OK because they're not me. And just keep pushing. You've got to keep showing up every single day. And when you do, that's when the opportunities come. The second you stop, it's like you're setting yourself back. I always want to be 1% better every single day. So always I'm trying my best every day to learn something new, to teach people anything like that. So my advice is don't give up. And just because one person doesn't like your voice or doesn't like what you're doing doesn't mean you have to stop. And the most important thing you can do, I think Tom Brady said it to. He said, just keep showing up. And my brother also said it. And he's not Kyle, rather brother Neil. He also probably took it from Tom Brady. But he tells me that all the time. And I think it's probably one of the best pieces of advice that I've ever heard. And I would just love to share that with other people. Amazing. So you said you were a vocal coach at a studio somewhere, right? Do you want to share that? Or? Yes. I teach voice lessons at Ann Parsley Dance Studio in Shelby Township. I teach ages 8 and up. And it's just been so amazing. I've done it since September. And I feel like I've learned so much about my own voice as well, teaching these kids. And honestly, just instilling confidence in them and giving them pep talks and building them up is something that I definitely wish that I had at my age when I was going through everything. Nice.
