Keeping Up With The Chaldeans - Lily Alattar [19:01-21:56]
I mean, he doesn't know what else to say. He's been great. Yeah, I mean, I know he else. Kyle, or you want me to get back in mind? I got one more. Oh yeah, let's go. What's your favorite type of song to sing? Oh, I actually like stripped back music. So nothing with a massive production behind it, which is why I like anthem so much because it's kind of like just your voice. But I would say soft guitar, soft piano. I feel like I can really do a lot with it, add in my own special riffs and runs and just make it sound really pretty. I also like singing kind of powerhouse songs like Whitney Houston and stuff. Even though sometimes it's a little hard, I kind of like that challenging stuff. I love piano. Thanks Kyle. We know you like piano. Thanks Lily. All right. That's how I appreciate that. Kyle's natural, man. Oh, it's good. Yeah, good job. That was good, Kyle. Good job. We're going to cut all that out. Yeah, I know. Yeah, over. You know, show me up, boy. I know. That was awesome. Kyle. Thank you for stepping in there. Yeah. So he got me to thinking about what genre of music do you write? What kind of music is that that you're writing? Mostly pop. Okay. Mostly pop. I take my inspirations from Lizzie McAlpine, Beats and Melody is sometimes Sabrina Carpenter. I would say those kind of are Gracie Abrams, just that very like guitar song gritty. It's all the old school stuff. No, no, not all. These are new folks. Yes, they are. Yes, I like that new music. I just really appreciate good songwriting and I always try to be better with my songwriting. So I like to focus more on the writing part than kind of the whole production, which sometimes doesn't do very well. Sometimes you just want that catchy tune. Yeah. And whenever I write to those songs, I'm like, gosh, I hate those. But everyone loves it. So I'm like, oh, okay, fine. You have to give the public what they want, right? Exactly, exactly. So where can people find you? On Spotify, so I actually, if you go to my Instagram at Lilly Allatar, L-A-L-Y-A-L-A-T-T-A-R, I've a link in my bio to my website, and also my links to my Spotify and my Apple music. I am in the process of changing my artist name on Spotify. To what? So I was a long time ago, I registered myself as Lilly A. Just one word from Lilly A, but I realized when I'm singing at Anthem's and stuff, they introduce me as Lilly Allatar and when people try to find me, they can't. So I'm in the process of changing that, but the easiest way to access that would be the link in my Instagram. Just in case it changes, it'll still be there in the same link. And then you did mention it, and I know it's probably in the link tree or whatever it is you use. What's the YouTube channel?
