Keeping Up With The Chaldeans - Italcasa Design [0:00-5:05]
Hey everyone, welcome back to keeping up with the Cal Dins. I'm Anthony Toma, your host today. We're here with the Italicasa team. Bill is going to run down what the Italicasa team is, what Italicasa does, and take it away. Hi everyone. Italicasa, contemporary furniture store, we've been around for over 35 years at Fortina Woodward. We do commercial projects, we do office buildings, we do amazing homes, one of a kind. We work with a lot of European manufacturers, leading in the industry in designs and fashion. Recently, we are making one of our showroom more gallery of Natuzy Italia, one of the leading brands, and everybody knows Natuzy Italia, love working with B.J. Natuzy, the son of Mr. Natuzy. It's a great addition to our lines that we work with. It's really amazing, making our showroom so unique and so different. Recently, my brother became, taken over, majority of the store, bringing the store to a new face back to the 21. So introduce them all by name. So anyway, so this is Nair Bahura, my brother, taken over that machine. We got one of the interior designer, Glezzet David, and then of course Victoria LaFada. We have a great team. They've been working with me for a while. Great product knowledge. They know the lines very, very well. We've been working with a lot of project even outside the state of Michigan. We've been working with great projects in Tennessee and Texas. Yeah. And beside all the, over the years, all the designs that we did over here with a lot of great projects. So I'm going to let Victoria and I'm going to explain what we do. So before we get into that, let's do a toast. There you go. Cheers. Cheers. So we did do a toast. We are a little toasty. It is Thursday night. It's a pretty big drink there, Anthony. It won't be big for long. So yeah, so it might take it away. Well, actually, I'd like, like, Lizette and Victoria to talk more, but I will start by saying that Eta Kasa has been in business for 37 years. We're back at our original location. We just signed a huge deal with the Tootsie Italia that will allow us to have a gallery showroom. There's only Miami, New York and pretty soon Michigan will have that explain when a gallery showroom. So gallery showroom from Tootsie Italia is basically a franchise agreement where we sell their product. They provide us with all their, all their fixtures. For example, we have a huge fabric wall. Hundreds of different types of samples. You can get any sofa and you could see and feel the fabric that we have. We have all the materials, all the, all the stone for their tables, all the glass. And you can customize the Tootsie Italia however you want. Our designers can show you exactly what it's going to look like before you purchase it. And we can actually show it to you in your space in 3D, which is what I'd like, Lizette and Victoria to talk about. We're trying to promote the Tootsie. I don't think I can say anything. We're trying to promote the Tootsie Italia because they have two division. The Tootsie addition and the Tootsie Italia, which really working with BG and Tootsie, great, great to work with. And you're trying to help us to promote their design side of the Tootsie, the Italian, which is called the Tootsie Italia and not the Tootsie addition. That's more designer focus for designer pieces. So we have two locations. We have one at the Royal Look, like Bill says. Then we also have a showroom at the Michigan Design Center. So like Bill said, we do carry a lot of brands from the European. What's the address at the Royal Look space? 32968. Yeah, I don't know about that. It's 32968 Woodward Avenue, but just much easier. It's at the very corner of 14 mile Woodward. Correct. So it's very easy to find that. And then where's the design center located? It's on 1700 such drive and more on sweet 13. So it's actually behind the Troy motor mall. So it's a street before maple lawn. And it's a huge facility. You can find tile work there. You can find anything in the design industry that you like. California closets is there. You know, Baker, there's a lot of stores inside there that it's a great resource. It's recently opened to the public. But typically the public doesn't get as big of a discount as
