How This Investor Creates A Lasting Legacy With Smart Investments [35:12-39:14]
I love that, man. Favorite AI app. What are you using right now? So, I'm a huge chatbie, GBT fan. And I've experimented with some of the others. And then I also got this app that, where you spend 15 minutes a day called Corsive, teaching you about different AI apps and what AI can do. But what I appreciate about chatGBT is I can just have a conversation with it on my iPhone and it gives me back something that's of real value. And so, when I can't get people on the phone to have a conversation with them or, you know, I realize it's going to take somebody at the firm a long time to get back to me. The fact that in about 35 seconds, I can get 75% of the answers I need in a given day from this makes me tremendously efficient with my time, so that I can do other work. Yeah. You don't fear, the job does please me, you don't fear it, forget the job this way. You don't fear that anything could be inaccurate with you. Oh, I don't think you accept it as being, as you put it, accurate. I don't think you just take that and you, I'm looking for my brain to be fed, right? With thoughts and ideas that in my past would have taken me hours and hours and hours and weekends to research. And so, what it is allowing me to do is to shorten or create a brevity around my research process, which then makes me more efficient in other ways, right? So for me, it's about research. It's not about an end product that I'm then sending to somebody as my own work product. Yeah, I tell people, it makes you smarter faster, right? That's what it does. You have to go double check, fact check, and all of that, but it gives you an overview of quicker. It's very, very fast. Proof reading? Yeah. We're improving everything I sent out. Now I sent it through that 45 seconds later. On a percent. Yeah. Get you out of here on this, Jake, man. And thank you so much for the time. Definitely appreciate it. I got to do it again. Good to great. My favorite business book, Jim Collins, what's the difference between a good investment and a great one? Good investment and a great investment. I would say the level of return, right? A good investment is going to produce one level of return. And a great investment is going to produce another level of return. But what usually leads to a good return and a great return is a good company versus a great company. And that spread between a good company and a great company can be tremendous. That could be the difference in whether you did well or you generated wealth, right? And so I think that there are very few great companies. There are a lot of good companies, a tremendous number of bad companies. But there are very few great companies when you find it and you invest in it. I don't care. What the price is at any given point in time. You buy it, you hold on to it, hopefully you give it to your kids and you won't regret making that decision. Yeah. Not at all. Good advice, financial literacy, muffin, paper, man. Jake, I appreciate the time. Thank you so much. Thank you for the help on the list, man, fours, Bill K.50, money, masses, congrats on your new power 100. This is coming out. Gotta keep the conversation going at all times to, again, change in there about what success looks like, man. And you know, you've helped me define what that is and I'm glad to continue to be a part of that journey. Thanks for doing what you do. And thank you, Forbes, for doing what it does. Speaking on behalf of the black community, that list made people feel like they needed to feel. It made people feel in a way that was a true reflection of what they have accomplished and what they've endured and what they've created. So thank you. Most definitely. You're very welcome. Jacob Blueprint Capital, advisors here at the NASDAQ Market site. Thank you so much for watching. Thank you for listening.
