How This Investor Creates A Lasting Legacy With Smart Investments [0:00-5:00]

He's a type of person that gives quick nose and very slow yeses. And those yeses only comes when his process is completely complete and he's satisfied. Type of investor you may want on your side. Talking business with a Wall Street legend and Jake Wallflower, you're in the enterprise zone at the Nasdaq Market Sight. Hello everyone, it's Jabari Young, senior writer at Forbes and you're in the enterprise zone at the Nasdaq Market Sight. And I have a special guest, his name is Jake Wallflower, he is the founder and CEO of Plubrink Capital Advisors. This is an investment management firm that is based in New York, New Jersey and he's also one of the consultants of our Forbes BLK50 money masters, Liz Jacob. Thank you so much for the time, my brother, I appreciate it. Thank you, Jabari. Yeah, absolutely. It's your first time at the Nasdaq. My first time at the Nasdaq and let me tell you, I appreciate it being here with you. Oh man, listen. I admire the work you've done with the BLK50, I think everybody has a pull pit. And I love the way you're using your pull pit, I love the way Forbes is using its pull pit to amplify what success really looks like and I just want to know how much I appreciate that. Hey man, listen. Thank you so much, Jake. I really appreciate those words and listen. I appreciate the work that you're doing, right? I have Blueprint Capital Advisors and the work that you guys helped us do when we came out with that list of money masters lists. But I cannot believe that this is your first, you are a Wall Street legend man, you've been around since the early 90s at Lehman Brothers, this is your first time at the Nasdaq market. Oh man, I've been doing this close to 40 years. That's what I'm saying. This is my first time at the Nasdaq, not because I haven't been working. Yeah, because you've just been working, you've been working all you want. So when you think about it, like, you know, in this business, you spend that first portion of your career grinding, right, you're working seven days a week, 12 to 16 hour days. Then you spend that second part of your career trying to elevate and level up, right, get yourself promoted, get to the position where you have more influence. And now you start to spend time, as you've done that, giving back, no focusing more in community. And so now I feel like it's time to come from behind the desk and spend more time, you know, sharing the story. Yeah. We're here at the Nasdaq market site, man. You got to give me a stop. Just one? Just one. Yeah. Come on. You don't want to give people a sense that they can make money off one site, they got to build a portfolio. Yeah. I don't know, man, that's it. Let me tell you what my favorite stock is right now, in video. In video. Because when you think about this whole concept of AI, people are thinking about it from an innovation, from a disruption standpoint, but there's still very few ways to play it, right, if you're really a big believer in what is coming as a result of AI. And so in video is the stock that you can use to sort of play it. Now you've got Microsoft and others making major investments in open AI and other platforms, but a lot of those platforms are still private. They're still taking in capital from venture capital firms and corporate venture capital organizations. And so one of the few ways that we as individuals can play AI is in video. Now I also have a big trade on which is energy, right. When we think about where we are from a perspective of a household and individual, everybody's got multiple devices that they're plugging in, right. So demand on energy is far greater than what we have in the way of supply. But when you think about it beyond that, you think about AI, you think about data centers, they require a tremendous amount of energy. When you think about Bitcoin, Bitcoin requires a tremendous amount of energy. I just learned this statistic that to actually create one Bitcoin, that takes as much energy as it does to power a household for 13 years. Wow. When you think about how many Bitcoin are produced in a given year, so I think the real play here is on energy because the demand for energy over the next 10 to 15 years is going to be tremendous. It's going to be massive. Yeah, it's going to be massive. I just hope our energy infrastructure that's very, very old in this country can handle the volume of the energy that's going to be able to, you know, it's going to path to come online in order for these data centers to, you know, get online and power us the way we need to. I think if you look at companies like Williams, look at companies like Constellation, you look at companies like Nexterra, I think they've done a very good job of spending the CapEx and investing in their infrastructure. Yeah, love it. Hey, man, listen, 2026, again, we're here. We can go in stocks all day, Jay, you'll start to, you know, get people into our private conversations, right? But what's been the music that's been keeping you, you know, motivated and creative, you know, as we hear, ready to enter the spring? Yeah, you know, I've always relied on the same song throughout my career, right? And it's kind of my anthem. And there's a lot of people's anthem, and that's, you know, Eminem lose yourself, right?

{# E23 (Nick, ruling section 1 answer 10): quoting a bill or a court opinion works the way quoting a news article works. Select a passage above and the same panel opens: the passage goes to the official you choose, with this document's own address as its source and its own type. #}
