Nelson Mandela and the Collapse of South Africa [17:46-19:02]
Kill the Boer. Zuma is now the leader of the Imconto, Misesway, or MK Party, which holds 58 seats in Parliament and is the third largest political party in South Africa. But while the media hides the truth from the global public, the one faction that is not blind to reality are the financial powers that weigh and consider how much, if any, investment they will make in South Africa. What matters is not the narrative constructed around these events, but the reality experienced by the people living through them. Families continue to report attacks, threats, and killings in rural communities that once formed the backbone of South Africa's agricultural economy. Whether these incidents are dismissed, minimized, or debated in political circles, does little to change the consequences for those who face them. Violence does not disappear simply because it is ignored. We have to wait and see what the future of South Africa looks like a few years from now.
