Surveillance video shows shooting inside Giant grocery store: police [0:00-2:00]

that's it. Let's get to our top story now, new this morning surveillance video of a shooting inside of a Montgomery County giant food store. That's scary video. When you see it, you'll understand two teens now under arrest being charged as adults for attempted murder. Let's not wait any longer. Let's get to Mel. She's in Germantown with the latest for us. Yeah. Good morning, guys. Yes. Certainly. Yeah. That was my reaction when I saw the video too, just that these could have been near misses. Now you can see in the video, the bullets flying inside of this giant grocery store, not only striking the teen victim, but sailing past the heads of customers. Here's that video now. It was recorded March 20th at 8.40 pm. The suspects identified a 16 year old Demby, a Tandy and all black and 19 year old Marcus Braithwaite in Gray are running with guns drawn in the produce section, chasing another teenager throughout the store. Now, at the top of the screen, you'll see a white arrow pointing at the teenage victim and a red arrow showing the two suspects as the victim runs past the checkout lanes filled with shoppers. At least one of the suspects fires wildly, striking the teen two times. And you can see here hitting other objects like balloons that appear to fall down on the floor. Frightened customers duck and run for cover. This witness did not want to be identified on camera. We were just in the parking lot. We heard basically just a loud bang from inside the store and we just see two kids run outside from the store. And one of them was just, yeah, I got them in the leg, got them in the leg. And then the other kid just yells, I forgot my phone and he runs back in the store to grab his phone and they both come out and get in the car and drive away. Now, police investigators did find that cell phone that one of the suspects had dropped fleeing the scene. There was also a $10,000 reward for information leading to and arrest in the case. Both suspects have been taken into custody and they are expected to have court appearances today. They are facing very serious charges, including felonies like attempted first degree murder.
