She underwent temporary involuntary civil commitments in November and December 2021, during which she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type one. K.C. also claimed to have been hospitalized on other occasions as well. In late August 2024, K.C. left her son in her mother’s care while K.C. worked her normal 12-hour nursing shift. During this time, K.C.
