Diabetes Prevention and Obesity Treatment Act

Creating the "Diabetes Prevention and Obesity Treatment Act"; beginning on a specified date, requiring the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide Medicaid coverage for diabetes prevention programs if the Medicaid recipient meets specified criteria; requiring the agency to provide Medicaid coverage for certain treatments for obesity; authorizing the agency to seek federal approval through a state plan amendment or Medicaid waiver if necessary to implement specified provisions, etc.
