31st Street Monthly Mtng - Feb 22 2026 - Nebraska - Strategy to Flip Senate Seat [67:58-69:35]
Achilles Hills of sorts and and in this piranha politically, political piranha age that we live in. Are there any Achilles Hills that could come back to Hanam that Republicans could leverage as its race heats up toward November? So yeah, so I'm happy to share with Jim some articles about Dana Osborne in New York Times and other national outlets. And I will say that Osborne is already pulling better than he pulled at the end of the 2024 race and how he actually performed. So he lost by a little over six percent in 2024 and he actually overperformed Kamala Harris by 14 points in Nebraska. So very I think one of the most significant over performances in a center race that year. And then he actually, you know, you saw some of the polls that Jim showed earlier that showed him within one percentage point. And that has been consistent since last fall through up until within the last week, there's been another poll that showed him within one percentage point of rickets. And that's despite the over five million dollars of spending over the last year by key rickets. So I actually think that Osborne is better positioned and part of that is because rickets is less popular than the Fisher is. And Trump's not on the ballot, too, which we know as a distorting effect. So Molly, Molly, it sounds like you're going to be an ambassador.
