While Manning was at work one day, the fiancé searched Manning’s laptop because she suspected him of infidelity. She found an image of child pornography on the laptop, a device she also used occasionally for schoolwork. Shocked by her discovery, the fiancé photographed the screen with her phone to document her finding. Not long thereafter, she moved out of the residence, leaving Manning a note indicating that she “saw stuff [she] cannot unsee.” Exhs. Vol. I, p.
