(collectively, Children) lived with their parents (Parents) in a two-bedroom apartment in Scottsburg, Indiana. A.K., F.K., and their half-brother slept in the upstairs bedroom on mattresses placed on the floor until a bed bug invasion caused them to sleep in the first floor living room. Parents occupied the downstairs bedroom. Crossley, though not biologically related to A.K. and F.K., is the biological grandfather of their half-siblings.
