Hardy observed that Brightharp sometimes slept in a chair in an alley across the street from Hardy’s residence. One day, Brightharp showed up outside Hardy’s house and began to confront Hardy about “the woman in his house” and an alleged debt she owed Brightharp. (Tr. at 81.) Thereafter, Brightharp 1 Ind.
