When Schaefer arrived, she encountered sixteen-year-old Rodriguez and Dorian Givens, who asked Schaefer to buy them some cigarillos. Schaefer indicated that Short was going to arrive shortly and that she would arrange for Short to buy the young men cigarillos. When Short arrived, Schaefer’s car was already 1 Ind. Code § 35-42-1-1(2). at a gas pump.
