After a struggle, Officer Parker subdued and arrested Spells, whom the State then charged with Level 6 felony battery by bodily waste and Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. 1 The trial court set a $250 cash bond, which a third party, Diane Rolle, deposited in full.
