When no one answered that call, Bradley began yelling and punching A.R. in the face and head—his fist clenching the handle of a large “survival knife.” Id. at 107. As Bradley drove the couple through rural St. Joseph County, the attacks continued, leaving A.R. with a bloody nose and a swollen eye.
