Indianapolis police officer Scott Highland ordered A.W. to get on the ground several times, “Juvenile adjudication” is now the preferred term of art for what was commonly called a “true finding,” the juvenile law equivalent of a guilty verdict on a particular count in adult criminal court. The case today involves multiple juvenile adjudications in the same case, triggering a Wadle substantive double jeopardy analysis.
