* Jack Bergman, U.S. Congressman (R) Watersmeet [5:05-8:42]
Last week, I chaired a classified briefing with armed services folks concerning the horrific airplane crash here in DC a year ago in January and we're still trying to figure out what exactly where does it fall apart, but more importantly, what do we need to change to ensure aircraft separation, aircraft not in spaces they don't belong? I would suggest to you to allow companies, because there are, for example, there are private companies to do airline training, they do all the different kinds of things that you would expect. Why not maybe do a pilot project and see in a few airports if that, if that was going to work, but we remember the first, the why we're doing this is because of things like 9-11 and before the bad guys and there are bad guys, they're going to try to wreak havoc and airplanes are flashy and it to make an airplane blow up or to do something running into a building like a 9-11, we have to remember that people like the Iranians, they're the ones that started this ball rolling and some other of the radical groups in that other parts of the world. We can never allow them the opportunity to use one of our airports or an airplane as an example of their horrific behavior that can't be allowed to happen. A different sort of aviation, if you will, Congressman Jack Bergman, General Bergman from Northern Michigan. The White House has registered the domain alien.gov. Are we about to learn everything that you know and they know? Well, you know, I did not know that they had registered that domain, but I, you know, I think for those of you, and I don't know if you watch it, strains your things. I mean, I think sometimes we're living in the upside down, Michael Patrick, so if you're in your strains, your things fans. But we have to assume that there is life in the universe that is not us. I mean, isn't that pretty depressing if you think human beings are the most advanced form of life in the entire universe? A fair point. Before we go, does Pete Hagseth consult with you at all and if you were the czar of Iran, what would you do? How would you solve this? Well, I've been dealing with this for 47 years. We know that unfortunately, President Carter fails back then to deal with it. And every president since then has failed to deal with it because of the Iranian regime. When you think about war fighting, you have enemies, right? Or who attacked you and you go to war with? Iran uses proxies. They have. I could get deeply into this and I know we're probably going to run out of time. But thank God that President Trump finally decided to deal with Iran because it was only getting worse and more dangerous for us as a country and for others because they're not quitting and we did the right thing by taking out their missile launchers first because you can have all the missiles in the world. But if you got nothing to launch them with, they're not going anywhere. Might as well be like a Fourth of July fireworks display that goes off on your dock and that's about it.
