Officer Bradford knew Akins from prior police encounters and was aware that he had a suspended driver’s license and outstanding felony warrants. She had also seen Akins’s vehicle at a known drug house earlier that day. After confirming the suspension and warrants, Officer Bradford conducted a traffic stop of Akins’s vehicle and ordered Akins to exit it.
